| Bio: | A little bit about me. I've noticed a lot of folks +friending my LJ lately, people who probably don't know me at all and folks who likely won't actually try talking to me...in the interest of letting folks know what they're getting into, here's a little spiel by me, and about me. Because I feel like a wee little narcissist today. ;) Hi, welcome to my Livejournal. I'm Kyle, a 25 year old (starving) artist. I mostly draw stuff for the Furry community, since they seem to be the only ones willing to pay me for art...but I can and do draw other things, too. I was born and raised in western Michigan, and am currently living in southern Ontario. I'm also a video game nut, very big fan of Tool, and have a fascination with body modification. I curse like a fuckin' sailor most of the time, and no that isn't about to change, sorry. Just so you know now, I'm also pretty openly bisexual though I (HEAVILY) prefer men...I state this here for two reasons. One, a large chunk of my art features homoerotic subject matter, and two...because I really will NOT tolerate any bias against any orientation on my LJ. Now, if you've read this far and haven't run away screaming, then good on ya! +friend away, I generally +friend folks back so long as their LJ isn't screamingly frightening. Since someone asked...a personal FAQ. Q. Do you take commissions? A. I do indeed! However, currently I am booked solid, and will not be taking many more commissions until after Christmas. I might offer some commission specials on my Exclusive Filtre (see below for details on that!*) and I might also offer some detailed sketch commissions sometime soon. Keep an eye on my journal for alerts and information! *- Coming soon...I'm very disorganized right now. :P Q. Do you take art trades? A. Usually yes! If I have time, I'd love an art trade with just about anyone...I love seeing my characters drawn in other people's styles, and I like drawing other people's characters. Q. Do you take requests? A. No, sorry. I just don't have time for them. Plus, art is my only source of income. If I did everything for free, I'd have no money, and bills don't pay for themselves. Q. Do you do collaborations? A. Yes! Contact me and we'll talk. :) Q. How should people pay you for commissions? A. I do take Paypal payments, as well as personal cheques and money orders from North America. Please be aware that my Paypal address is Wylldogg316@hotmail.com and it is NOT MY EMAIL ADDRESS so don't send me private emails there! My email address is Njotr@hotmail.com. Also, if paying by cheque or money order, they MUST be made out to K. Lawrence, NOTHING ELSE. The reason for this is because the place I cash them at has "K. Lawrence" in their computers and they get leery if the cheques are made out in any other way. Q. What sort of content is okay for you to draw? A. Anything. No, really. If I have a problem with content, I'll say so, but right now I can't say I'd turn down a commission due to content issues. Q.
