Writer's Block: Cold turkey

Do you celebrate Thanksgiving? If so, how does your celebration vary from traditional holiday rituals?
My family's Thanksgiving tradition isn't odd or unusual or variant or deviant in any way from the stereotypical norm. The only exception is that over the years, there's fewer and fewer of us to celebrate it. Today we managed to rope Mary Ann into it, so there was actually four people at the table. Awesome!

We ate a tonne of clementine oranges, cheese and crackers for appetizers, then wolfed down a bunch of casseroles, stuffing, potatoes, fresh fruit, butter rolls and of course turkey slathered liberally with cranberry sauce. My dad's pies or, this year, non-plural pie followed the meal a short time after.

Nothing really special or fancy, just...people eating food. :)
